Meeting Anders

We were in Minneapolis the past couple of days to meet our new grandson.

Of course, I got to hold him for quite a long time. Like they say, it is a tough job, but someone has to do it.

Grandma held him too. She has a reputation for being able to get fussy babies to sleep, and she demonstrated that a couple of times during our visit.

Will said in one of his posts that Anders is very small. Here is some additional evidence of that. (Although, he is already gaining weight, we were told!!)

Of course, I think he is wonderful. I had a chance to further consider whether or not he resembles his father. I see quite a bit of resemblance. What do you think?

Here are three generations of Deckers. Two are thinking about how happy they are. One is still working at thinking.

And finally, if you are tired but cannot sleep, the following hypnotic video may help you.

Dad, it's not nice to say that Will is working on thinking. Even though the picture clearly shows that he's trying very hard!

Ok, I like the 3 generations pic, but I have to say that it gave me the best, biggest belly laugh I've had in ages. First, after looking at the look on Will's face, then after seeing the look on Anders' face! Thanks for the laugh, I needed it!

Will has been working very hard on his thinking for a good 40 years, and I, for one, think that he's getting pretty good at it.
Henry wants me to "try and fill that up" with the words in this little comments box. "I want to see no white" he says. So, now I'm trying to think of things to say....
Henry also asked "Why do they live so far away from us? I wish they lived closer." There. Now the box is full.
