Most of the kids were in town the weekend of July 4th. On Friday evening, we enjoyed hosting everyone for tacos and fun. Kathie had purchased a Slip'n'Slide for the grandkids. Henry was the most proficient at the sliding part.
But everyone enjoyed the pool part at the end of the slide.

Later, while we listened to music at Jazz Fest, a friend took this picture of Clara and me.
On Saturday, Rob and Carrie hosted all of us for Eleanor's 4th birthday, which actually occurred a few days prior. At Eleanor's request, her beloved Pop made her an owl birthday cake.
There were many gifts, with Clara providing some assistance.
Uncle Rob showed one of them to Anders.
There was time for more swimming in Eleanor's pool.
Then it was time for the cake and candles.
